Here’s your chance to own an awesome custom Harley Bobber while supporting a great cause.

Throughout this web site you can read about the desperate plight of the people of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Spirited Heart is launching a series of initiatives to help combat the poverty and hopelessness that permeates the Reservation.

                        To help finance these efforts Spirited Heart is raffling the custom Bobber seen here. Built on a 2007 Harley-Davidson frame, this custom bike features:

  • 2” under springer all chrome front-end                        
  • 8“ extended hard tail
  • 6” risers
  • 1” drag bar
  • Engine punched to a 1200cc
  • 200 x 18” cobra rear tire                                           
  • 18” x 5.5” 80 spoke rear rim
  • 51 tooth rear sprocket
  • 9” rolled custom rear fender
  • MT90H-16 front tire W/402 Dunlap style tread
  • Stainless steel braided brake lines
  • Thunderheart brake calipers
  • 24 tooth drive sprocket
  • 4.5 quart oil bag
  • Brake discs are chrome super star design
  • Custom paint

Ticket Price: $10 per ticket (ONLY 1600 tickets will be sold)

The drawing for the Custom Bobber will be held live at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012

In addition to the Custom Bike, we will be drawing for CA$H prizes as we reach these ticket distribution milestones:

250 tickets = $100.00 Drawing
500 tickets = $250.00 Drawing                             
750 tickets = $500.00 Drawing

Ticket holders can win multiple cash prizes and still be eligible for the Grand Prize Custom Bike.

We Need Your Help

I’m writing on behalf of Spirited Heart, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the Lakota Sioux people of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota.

Pine Ridge Reservation is a Third World nation in our own back yard. The residents of Pine Ridge are some of the most impoverished in the United States. Added to their poverty is some of the most extreme winter weather in the lower 48 states. Severe winds howl across the plains. Winters bring bitter cold with temperatures reaching -50°F or lower. Over 39% of the homes on Pine Ridge Reservation have no electricity and generally lack adequate insulation. Few homes have a central heating unit, relying on space heaters or wood burning stoves. Each year numerous elderly die from hypothermia.

In November 2011, Spirited Heart distributed over 6,000 blankets and about nearly 100 space heaters to the residents of Pine Ridge. And while the residents were very thankful for this assistance, it was but a fraction of the help that is needed.

This December, Spirited Heart will once again be delivering blankets, space heaters and winter clothing to these very needy people. But this year we are also constructing “Solar Heat Boxes” to help the residents meet their winter heating needs.

These solar heat boxes use a simple design to deliver free solar heat to supplement whatever minimal heating system is already present in the homes. Some homes will have two or more solar heat boxes installed.
